Our client was forced to undergo, among other surgeries and treatments, a posterior fusion of her thoracic spine and an open reduction internal fixation of her left elbow. At the time our firm took on this case, the Defendants’ offers totaled only $50,000. The Defendants, all of whom contested responsibility for the accident, focused their defense on our client’s prior medical history and a denial of any personal responsibility for the condition of the property. After exposing the Defendant’s’ substantial liability and demonstrating the extent of our client’s injuries, our firm obtained a global settlement in the amount of $8,050,000.
