Client was riding his motorcycle with the right of way whent he Defendant drove his truck and trailer through five lanes of traffic into the client’s lane, causing an accident. The client sustained crush injuries to his left foot, resulting in compartment syndrome and a complete lack of sensation in his left foot as well as low back injuries. We were able to show evidence of the significant challenges this client would face in the future and have the defense’s accident reconstructionist stricken. Facing compelling evidence of negligence and the potential for a high jury verdict, the defense finally agreed that the client’s recovery should be in the 7-figure range.
