Client was riding his motorcycle when the Defendant driver switched lanes in front of the client, causing client’s motorcycle to rear-end the Defendant’s vehicle. Client injured his low back resulting in a minimally invasive lumbar procedure. At trial, the defense focused on the fact that our client was a convicted felon, who rear-ended the Defendant. The jury determined damages to exceed $3,400,000 which will result in six figure fees and cost being added to the judgment as a result of the insurance carrier failing to accept a proposal for settlement.
