The defense threw the kitchen sink at this case. It hired an orthopedic surgeon, radiologist, billing expert, and biomechanical engineering expert. Through aggressive discovery & motion practice, BTG was able to convince the court to limit the defense billing and biomechanical experts on Daubert challenges. We were also successful in getting the defense CME to concede the automobile accident permanently injured the plaintiff. The defense had no choice but to settle for a sum with which our client was thrilled.
