While riding as a passenger on a motorcycle, our client was involved in an accident after the Defendant’s employee erratically veered into our client’s lane causing a chain reaction. Our client suffered significant personal injuries. After overcoming the Defendants’ liability defenses through which they claimed a third party driver was partially responsible for losing control of his motorcycle after the Defendant’s employee veered into their lane, we secured a $1,175,000 on her behalf. The case significantly changed direction toward settlement following a blistering deposition of the defense’s primary engineering expert, establishing a complete lack of any factual basis to the expert’s opinion.
