Client was driving his motorcycle with the right of way, when the Defendant drove his rideshare vehicle into the client’s lane, cutting him off. Client suffered a low-back injury requiring a lumbar fusion. We established the ride share driver’s fault, and moved for summary judgment as to liability. We also obtained a life care plan, which projected our client’s future medical needs. With a trial and significant fee and cost exposure staring them in the face, the carrier realized its exposure and arrived at a significant seven figure settlement to avoid trial.
