While enjoying a leisurely motorcycle ride, our client was involved in an accident after the Defendant’s employee erratically veered into our client’s lane causing a chain reaction. Our client suffered orthopedic injuries to his shoulder, back and leg. After overcoming the Defendants’ liability defenses through which they claimed our client and another motorcyclist were partially responsible for contributing to the accident, we secured a $1,175,000 on his behalf. The case significantly changed direction toward settlement following a blistering deposition of the defense’s primary engineering expert, establishing a complete lack of any factual basis to the expert’s opinion.
